It’s not only children who grow. Parents do too. As much as we watch to see what our children do with their lives, they are watching us to see what we do with ours. I can’t tell my children to reach for the sun. All I can do is reach for it, myself.

I remember everyone saying things like “oh don’t you think Andrew will be jealous of Luke?” Although we saw (and still see now!) adjustments taking place in Andrew’s world, we realized that a lot of people had just spoken jealousy over their relationship and that didn’t need to be. So I prayed (and pray) against it. Don’t settle for it – God has a great relationship in mind for them.
They both look great!
