Jul 12 Go-Go Gadget…

Even with all the extra help I have right now- I’ve frequently found myself wanting one more hand, one more arm, one more lap. I don’t want to look freaky, I just want to be able to say “go-go gadget (enter whatever the need).” And I know I’m getting even better at multi-tasking… which I would have told you was impossible, because I already considered myself a pro. But a few experiences these last few days have made my skills rise to a new level. Drum role please… (1) I checked email and read a few blogs while being hooked up to my double-electric breast pump AND I was eating lunch. (2) I used the bathroom while bouncing Ellie in a sling that had her snuggling close with me, while also doing itsy-bitsy-spider with Silas. And now, I sit here in the peaceful bliss of having two sleeping children. It’s wonderful!
I bet you the creator of Inspector Gadget was a young mom. Perhaps a young mom of multiples. Here we go…I hear my toddler stirring from his nap- and Ellie is also starting to squirm. The countdown is on… go, go gadget….

My mother always said that if the theory of evolution was true then every mother would have eight arms.
I am very impressed by your multi-tasking; you go girl!

I giggled at the thought of the breast-pumping-blog-checking-luncheon you hosted!
I could use those go-go-Gadget arms when Ava shoots to the back seat of the minivan when it’s time to get out. Or the go-go-Gadget Copter to get two cranky kiddos home from a much too long walk this morning!
Go-go-Mommy!!

This is awesome. There are many times when I’m nursing and emailing at the same time! Go, Amy!
