Have you heard at least one of those great stories about how God uses a physical angel to intervene in someones life? I love stories about divine intervention- somehow they are like a shot of espresso for my heart- they confirm to me that God is active, that He is involved, that He cares. This past month, I’ve been in the company of an angel that God sent specifically for me. At first- I would have told you that I was spoiled to have a month with one of my dearest friends… but now, that the month has unfolded… I can see clearly that God didn’t just send me my friend- He sent me an angel… someone to be His hands, speak His words, give His hugs, and keep me putting one foot in front of the other through a whole heck-of-a-lot of changes. And now, as I sit here polishing off the last of my friend’s ice cream birthday cake… knowing that she’s on a plane bound for NY… I have that sad pit in my heart… my eyes still quick to tear. You know the feelings of “lull” that come after you’ve been on a mountaintop in your heart? That’s kind of where I am. But I am so thankful… thankful for this friend, thankful for this past month, thankful that God sent me an angel.
Saying thank you will never be enough Kitty…
I love you.

This a beautiful Amy.
I’m thankful that you had her…..what a month it has been for you, God knew you would need an extra set of hands and those special hugs and talks. Thank you God for taking care of Amy, and her beautiful family.
Uhhmmm…. I don’t know what you two do together, but you should change your related posts.
wow, kitty… thank you for this. i certainly don’t feel like an angel, but i’m glad i could finally be the friend to you that i’ve always wanted to be. i’m all teary (again!) at the thought of not seeing your beautiful face in the morning when i wake up. or actually right now when i bring peaberry to you at the end of my “shift”. i love you so much. so much.
ps — my eyes got huge when i saw that “possibly related link” at the end of the post. ha ha ha… too funny!
