Oct 11 Two Lines

It was a week ago today. As I stepped into the bathroom, my eyes sought out what they were seeking, and I got my answer. During the three minutes prior… I felt like time was paused. I felt the effort of my breathing… I let my mind wander ahead to a place of joy and tried to overlook the possibility of being disappointed. But, there they were, staring back at me… two lines…
